Join SIMS and the Buea Adventist Health Centre for the Grand Opening celebration of the hospital's new 12-bed facility!  In partnership with Buea Health Centre and the Health Sciences Department of the University of Buea (UB), SIMS will support the grand opening festivities by hosting a large community health fair.  The health fair will incorporate health education booths, health screenings and consults, and training workshops.  Project participants will have the opportunity to participate in various aspects of the health fair, from teaching (translators provided) to health screenings and more.  SIMS may also have the opportunity to host a mini health fair in a more rural village setting outside of Buea.

In addition to health fair activities, the SIMS team will have the opportunity to tour the University of Buea medical and nursing schools (and hopefully meet some UB students), visit a local orphanage, climb Mt Cameroon, and share a Christmas meal at the home of the Buea Hospital Medical Director.  Please plan to join us!
