At the beginning of this year, the Malamulo Adventist Hospital in Malawi became Loma Linda University's first international field station.  SIMS is excited to plan a trip to Malamulo, offering students the opportunity to contribute to long-term development at Malamulo Hospital.  As trip participants, students will have the opportunity participate in:

  • Regional satellite clinic visits 
  • Community health program focusing on HIV education
  • Health fair screenings at local elementary schools
  • Clinical rounds at both rural Malamulo Hospital as well as Blantyre Hospital
  • Vacation Bible School activities for children and families
  • And more!

Estimated project costs: $2,500 includes airfare, food, lodging, and in-country transportation
