Description

This year the conference focuses on recruiting, engaging and retaining the people needed to develop strong hospitals and academic institutions. Interprofessional communication, quality improvement, finance and legal consideration, the human resource life cycle, and the elements needed to build a strong team will be addressed. Attendees will understand how to build healthy and productive relationships with employees and faculty and develop confidence in abilities to address crucial conversations. These interactive sessions provide collective learning and collaboration opportunities, resulting in developing strategic plans around employment issues. Join us as we continue to learn how to better care for our employees, faculty, and staff. 

 

Objectives

  1. Gain an understanding of the human resource life cycle and how to implement human resource functions.
  2. Develop confidence in abilities to address crucial conversations and difficult situations, and create an environment of accountability.
  3. Discuss how to build healthy and productive relationships with employees and faculty.
  4. Develop and implement strategic plans around specific employment issues.
  5. Review the financial impact of human resource management.
  6. Provide opportunities for networking, sharing, and collaboration.

 

Continuing Education/Proof of Completion Certificates

Upon completion of the course, participants may print continuing education / proof of completion certificates via the LLU CE Portal.  This will be the only source for acquiring your certificate.  Please allow up to 2 weeks after the last day of the course for the CE certificates to be available.

- Click Login.

- Enter the email address and password you used to register for the event. (If you’ve forgotten your password or this is your first time logging in, click Forgot My Password, enter your email address, and your password will be emailed to you).

- Click Certificates.

- Click Print Certificate next to the course title.

- When you are done, Logout.

LLUH Employees:

- Go to https://ce.llu.edu

- Click Login.

- Enter your work email address and CE Portal password. This password is not the same as your work login password unless you have manually updated it. (If you’ve forgotten your password, or this is your first time logging in, click Forgot My Password, enter your work email address, and your password will be emailed to you).

- Click Certificates.

- Click Print Certificate next to the course title.

- When you are done, Logout.
